A complete pleasure to cut, it is designed around a beautifully intricate letter of your choice with a panel underneath to add a line of personalisation – like a name and birth date or full name, it is entirely up to you.

Ideal for a complete beginner or a seasoned papercut lover, this monogram template is wonderfully therapeutic to cut and has quickly become a firm favourite since launching these templates last year. They look impressive, but I promise you you’ll be able to create an intricately cut masterpiece to be proud of.

There is space for up to 16 characters (including spaces) underneath the letter – for a name, birthdate, cheeky swearword (jokes) or anything you like. This is YOUR design.

How long will it take?

Once your design is finished (within 1 to 2 working days or sooner) you will be emailed x2 PDFs which are:
1x Practise sheet PDF A4
1x Personalised Design PDF A4

The design will be flipped mirror image, meaning you’ll be cutting the back . After years or hosting papercutting workshops, this is the way everyone feels better about cutting the design. It means you don’t have to worry about how precise your cutting is. You can enjoy it more.

Obviously the length of time it takes to cut your monogram template varies from person to person. And there’s nothing in the rulebook (there is no rulebook…) about having to cut it all in one sitting. But if you do, then expect to cut it in an hour, maybe two.

What size is the monogram template

The size of each letter varies, but each will be on an A4 PDF (210x297mm) and each finished papercut should fit an A4 or 8×10 frame.

What do I need?

A scalpel, A cutting mat, Access to a printer, A4 paper (satin 100-120gsm recommended – although any paper will do. Read my blog about different papers to choose here)
