Letter Q papercut PDF template
Letter Q papercut template to handcut during a relaxing crafternoon with a lovely cuppa and a podcast. Blissful! You’ll need a cutting mat and scalpel and access to a printer to print out your templates and practise sheet, plus an hour of peace and quiet to enjoy the peaceful art of papercutting. Deceptively simple, you can get cutting immediately and it is easier than it looks I promise you. It fits a standard 8×10 frame making it a wonderful homemade gift for Quentin, Queenie or Quilla (no I can’t think of any more either!) Suitable for beginners.
I have designed this letter Q template and indeed the whole alphabet in this delicate style and each one begins with the outline shape of one of my favourite typefaces – Eames – and is filled with mesmerising swirls and curls making up a gorgeously intricate papercut which is simply joyous to cut.
You’ll find it a rewarding way to spend a crafty hour or so, they are so remarkably relaxing to cut and look sensational in a glass floating frame (available in Matalan and Ikea to name but two), making it a great handmade birthday gift to give with pride.
